Itinerary

We will leave Fez early enough to enjoy a sunrise from the Rif Mountains over the hills of Kansara. If this corresponds with a Monday Monday, we will stroll in the villagers day market and explore their way of trade at the Itnine el Walja. Later we will cross the Sebou River Bridge, leaving our 4x4 SUVs and prepare to start our hiking at the Hajra K'Heila (Black Stone) where a natural Berber breakfast is prepared especially for you with local specialties like Berber pancakes called Baghrir and semolina buttered bread called Harsha, Mellaoui of best sourdough fresh from the natural bedouin oven. raised and unraised. Breakfast will be in a local compound. Later on, we will go by Beni Wra Ward, we will start our climb of Mount Zalagh towards the natural hot springs of Bab Berred. Make a stop in this natural sight to soak our feet in hot sulfuric water and then proceed to the peaks of Mount Zalagh Pass of Bab Berred. Time for lunch that will be served at the peak of Mount Zalagh overlooking the distant city of Fez South and the Hills of Lamta Riffan Berber land known for its groves natural groves of Olive and Fig trees (Best in Morocco). Continue hiking in the afternoon going west ascending from the peaks towards Sidi Ahmed Bernoussi shrine where we will take a break for a mint tea ceremony in local fashion under the thousand-year-old oak treed of the shrine watching a spectacular sunset. Meet our vehicles on the paved road and ride back to Fez. Drop off will be in your hotels. Other evening tour activities are available on demand like a dinner show, a traditional Hammam, Henna Tattooing, etc...
